how does inboxy help with IP warm-up?
It depends on where your email is sent from.
Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
When you send from Google Workspace (including inboxy mailboxes) or Microsoft 365, your emails go out through the provider's own IP addresses. You do not own or warm those IPs. What you control is the reputation of your domain and each mailbox, and that is what decides whether you land in the inbox. inboxy warmup builds exactly that.
inboxy mailboxes run on US/EU IP accounts, a cleaner starting point than the cheap shared pools some resellers use.
Your own SMTP server or dedicated IP
If you send through your own infrastructure, such as Mailgun, SendGrid or a dedicated IP, the IP has a reputation of its own and starts cold. Connect those inboxes to inboxy warmup and the same gradual ramp and positive engagement builds reputation for the IP as well as the domain:
- volume starts low and increases steadily, avoiding the spikes that trigger filters;
- a private network of real inboxes opens, replies to and rescues your emails from spam;
- sending adjusts to how the inbox is responding.
