can inboxy help restore my damaged email reputation?
Often, yes, as long as you fix what damaged it first. Warmup rebuilds trust through steady positive engagement, but it cannot outrun a problem that is still happening.
Step 1: find the cause
- Bounces from an old or unverified list. Verify your list and keep bounces under 2%.
- Too much volume per inbox. Most cold email teams cap at 30 to 50 emails per inbox a day.
- Missing or broken SPF, DKIM or DMARC. inboxy sets these up automatically on inboxy domains; check them on any others.
- Spam complaints from poorly targeted or irrelevant emails.
- A blacklist listing. See our guide to getting off blacklists.
Step 2: pause and warm
Pause campaigns on the affected inboxes and turn on inboxy warmup. A private network of real inboxes opens your emails, replies and moves them out of spam, which is the signal providers need to start trusting you again. Run a placement test weekly to track recovery, and restart campaigns slowly once you are landing in the inbox again.
When a fresh start is faster
If a domain is badly burned, recovery can take months. At $3 a mailbox, it is often quicker to keep warming the old inboxes in the background and move campaigns to fresh Google Workspace mailboxes on a new domain.
No tool can guarantee recovery, but removing the cause and rebuilding steadily works for most senders.
